50-year-old male, presented with severe neck pain radiating to the right upper limb and difficulty lifting his right hand for one week. An MRI revealed a prolapsed intervertebral disc at the C5-6 and C6-7 levels, compressing the right-side nerve roots. He underwent spine surgery, specifically a C5-6 and C6-7 discectomy with fusion fixation. Postoperatively, the patient’s neck pain was relieved, and he experienced improved strength in his right hand.#neurosurgeonthane

An MRI revealed a brain tumor on the right side, close to the regions controlling motor function on the left side of her body. She underwent a craniotomy with near-total decompression of the tumor. Postoperatively, the patient showed significant improvement, regaining hand grip strength and the ability to walk without dragging her foot. Trigeminal neuralgia also called as” suicide dis

Trigeminal neuralgia also called as” suicide disease “due to its characteristic brief episode of abrupt severe electric shock like shooting, stabbing or sharp pain on one side of face. It’s mainly due to compression of trigeminal nerve by aberrant loop of artery or vein (90%). Other causes include epidermoid cyst, schwannoma, rarely meningioma in cerebropontine cisternal space. It is more common in elderly people affecting females more than male. Diagnosis is mainly clinical, supported by special MRI Brain with CISS study. Initially, patients are managed with medicines. If pain is intolerant and not getting relieved with medicines surgery is indicated. Surgery is definitive treatment with high percentage of pain free life. Here is a surgical video showing endoscopic decompression of dolicoectatic basial artery from trigeminal nerve. Patient is pain free immediately after surgery.

Sinonasal teratocarcinosarcoma (SNTCS) is one of the rarest, aggressive malignant neoplasms of sinonasal tract, constitutes less than 1% of all cancers. 45 yr/male presented with multiple episodes nasal bleed. On evaluation, he was found to have nasal mass invading skull base and frontal lobe . He underwent endoscopic assisted excision of tumor with ACF base repair. Post op course was uneventful. Patient is undergoing chemoradiation .
